North Shore NewsMilah-Malania Kupihea, 10-year-old daughter of Kaili Kupihea and a fourth grader from Haleiwa Elementary School, is the Royal International Miss Hawaii Sweetheart for 2022. The Royal International Miss pageant and scholarship program provides opportunities for young women and girls to develop their talents and foster their self-confidence. The Sweetheart Division is for girls 8 to 10 years old. Milah was selected by a panel of judges last August based on a private interview, and a fashion and gown competition. She has outstanding academic performance and extensive community service. Milah plans to compete for the title of Royal International Miss in Orlando, FL, coming up in July, and is seeking sponsorships to assist with the costs.
