Stormy’s is thrilled to have just celebrated its one year anniversary. Owner Dustin Pokrass shares, “We
have some new and exciting plans for the coming year with increased special offerings such as Prime Rib Poke. Our beloved chef, Sebastian Arango, locally known as “Chef Rasta,” is in the process of developing an elevated premier dinner menu that will be all about comfort food with some tasty innovative twists, such as brown-butter scallops. We are also adding some artistic interest to our décor with interior changes, such as a recently installed beautiful reclaimed wood and fire-glass wall by Sabrina Haselhorst.”

As a local favorite, Stormy’s is especially focused on delivering stellar service, along with their philosophy of treating their whole crew like family. “In our first year, we were able to keep 95% of our front-of-the-house team! So when you come to Stormy’s, you will always see familiar faces and we hope it is a home away from home,” says Dustin.

Dustin is also working on another restaurant across the street at the old Pizza Bob’s location (or going back even longer, Steamer’s) in partnership with longtime North Shore resident, Gary Jacobus. The restaurant will be called “Stonefish”, and will feature steak, seafood, and pasta. Dustin and Gary are extremely excited about creating a stunning new lanai for guests to enjoy dining or cocktails with friends. Stonefish is anticipated to open in about 3 months, and we will keep you posted on their progress.
