Rex Baccay, born on December 31,1954 as Anthony Rex Baccay and died on January 18, 2019 at the age of 64. Rex retired as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He was a baseball coach for Waialua Little League for many years and later coached an ILH baseball team PAC 5. Besides having a passion for baseball, Rex had a passion for music. He was a bass player for multiple bands throughout his lifetime. Rex was a person who loved to give back to the community. He enjoyed helping others, whether it be for baseball or music, or just being someone you can talk to for advice.

He is survived by wife Myrna (Albeso) Baccay, sons Vaughn (Tanya) Baccay, and Darren (Taylor) Baccay,
daughter Marla (Brandon) Baccay, grandsons Dalen, Brennan, Blake “Kaeo”, and Zayne, granddaughters Haley and Neveah. Also brother Anthony Roy “Tony” Baccay and sisters Grace Baccay and Gretchen Lorenzo. Rex has numerous nieces and nephews.
